ABOUT J.R GARDEN MACHINERY

1998
In 1998 I started work in a local workshop sweeping floors and cleaning garden machinery, from here I worked my way up the ladder.

Within three years I had completed a city and guilds level one, two and three in servicing engineering (agricultural and ground care) machinery at Evesham collage. This was highly recommended by the British Agricultural and garden machinery association and rare to achieve.

Five years in a workshop learning the ins and outs of as many different machines as possible, problem solving and discovering which machines were more reliable and why, gave me an excellent chance to learn as much as I could before moving into the sales and spares department.

This is where, as well as the mechanics, I worked on customer relations, finding out for myself what customers needs are and how best to help them.
Then finally into management, working in all areas and keeping up with new models and repairs.

And now, after starting at the bottom and working my way up, I have made the decision to start out on my own and JR GARDEN MACHINERY is pleased to say things are going well.
As an independent business we do not have a set dealer therefore we can offer a high quality service to many different makes of horticultural and garden machinery.
